Shisei ryu is a school in which words like\u00a0Tradition \u2013 Family \u2013 Development<\/strong>\u00a0acquire the status of the internal subjective experience of her students.\u00a0At school all together and each individual is experiencing a development process based on the value that results from a healthy family. Reaching the technique is directed to Japanese tradition and above all we remember about our Christian roots, knowing that human life is a great gift. The joy of living the life we share in the training and outside training, capturing every moment conscious.\u00a0Shisei ryu school does not teach anything new \u2013 it opens the doors of our perception. Jikishin<\/span>\u00a0Dojo<\/span><\/h2>\n

The name Jikishin Dojo is taken from the Japanese language so it can not be translated literally. The word \u201cJiki\u201d itself means \u201cstraight\u201d, \u201chonestly\u201d and \u201cdirection\u201d, while \u201cshin\u201d means \u201cheart\u201d. Therefore, the entire Jikishin name can be translated based on kanji, in which we write it, as: \u201ca simple, honest message
\nflowing from the heart. \u201d I called Dojo because because I trained in Shisei Ryu School, I have matured to these values, always guided by honesty in everyday training, and hence in life. Trainings in Jikishin Dojo are always a time for me, in which I share the technique and information I have learned. All this makes me very happy because it results from my passion, that\u2019s why I thought it was a message from a sincere heart.<\/p>\n

There is a well-known saying in Zen: \u201cJikishin kore dojo narii\u201d, which means: \u201cA real spirit (pure heart) is a place of training\u201d. These few words accurately describe our dojo.<\/p>\n

By developing Jikishin Dojo, we follow the principles of our School. For members of Jikishin Dojo, personal development and upgrading of technical qualifications are largely targeted by the traditional Menkyo Kaiden system. It results, among others from introducing the student to the possibility of self-realization, where the emphasis is on the responsibility of the adept, who should find his own place on his own. Getting a degree in Menkyo speeds up the process of showing the true self. Thanks to this, you can avoid false \u201cobedience\u201d and disingenuous willingness to cooperate and maintain contact with the source of your knowledge (master), only for gaining a degree (dan). Following the path Menkyo commits to contacting the school master, as it requires constant return to the basic techniques. This allows you to look at them from the perspective of the gained experience and carry out a re-analysis of their message.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, it can be stated that training in the Menkyo system at the Shisei Ryu School does not consist in assessing student achievement, but in enabling the discovery of further advancement levels and their understanding. Therefore, following these values, training at Jikishin Dojo requires a lot of self-discipline and wide perception. At each level of advancement, our work is focused on many details, but we strive to free ourselves from the form of technology and, consequently, to the individual ability to apply it in a specific situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Seishin<\/span>\u00a0Dojo<\/span><\/h2>\n

Many of us are familiar with the Japanese term \u201cdo\u201d, meaning \u201cway\u201d. We hear it over and over again. Different martial arts have adapted it in naming their styles, such as Iaido, Kendo or Aikido. Each of these lead the budoka on a certain path, they all show a particular way; not only in martial arts but also in life.\u00a0 From Japanese the word \u201cDojo\u201d means a \u201cplace of the way\u201d. It is a place where we develop our skills and sharpen our character. Therefore, we can say that a Dojo is a place of training. However, for us in Shisei Ryu it is much more. Apart from the physical and literal meaning of the word, we also think of it as of the people who create it. It is because of each individual the place exists in the first place and all of us combined together give the Dojo its unique atmosphere and character. Such a place is Seishin Dojo.<\/p>\n

In Japanese language, Seishin means devoted heart\/mind, true spirit. In Seishin Dojo we take this as our root philosophy, where each person is devoted to their training and school. Above all, we try to be true to each other in every aspect of our life, no matter how hard that seems in the time given to us. Throughout our training we upkeep tradition and base ourselves on the principals of our Dojo-Kun.<\/p>\n
